Risk Management

OSHA Training
The main objective of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSH Act) was to establish favorable and secure working environments for employees by enforcing specific standards outlined in the Act. It aimed to support and motivate individual state initiatives in ensuring safe and healthy working conditions while also offering occupational safety and health research, information, education, and training. According to the OSH Act, employers bear the responsibility of providing a workplace that is both safe and conducive to good health. Typically, workplace injuries and illnesses are not only prevalent and expensive but also avoidable. Although workplace fatalities in the United States have decreased by more than 60%, it is crucial to concentrate on further reducing this statistic due to the fact that an injured employee, on average, remains absent from work for eight days.
